Christina and Evan got married at Seattle’s UW campus this Summer, with a lovely ceremony at the picturesque Sylvan Grove Theater and a fun reception at Mary Gates Hall. These two were fun to work with from the start. Evan is super laid back and Christina is delightfully cheerful. The combination makes for an awesome couple to work with and I was honored to photograph their special day!
Make sure you read what Christina and Evan have to say about their own relationship and wedding below the photos!
Their love story in their own words and more on their wedding:
- Tell the one thing you love most about each other.
Christina: “Evan takes great care of our dog, Mori and I love seeing how sweet and thoughtful he can be!”
Evan: “I like how Christina is adventurous and likes to try new things and travel, something that I don’t usually do by nature.”
- If you feel comfortable, share something silly or quirky that the other person does.
Christina: “Evan loves wearing tank tops in the summer, which show of his muscles” 🙂
Evan: “Christina makes hilarious funny faces”
- Besides getting married, what’s the one thing you’re looking forward to on your wedding day?
Christina: “Having our friends and family get together and meet and watch them have an awesome time!”
Evan: “Seeing people from all the places we’ve lived, some of which we haven’t seen in a long time.”
- Besides the honeymoon, what’s the one thing you’re looking forward to when the wedding is over?
Christina: “Not spending weeknights pondering the engraving on the toasting flutes, or what shade of green the invitations should be. Also, being able to call Evan my “husband”!”
Evan: “Enjoying the great Seattle summer and not having to worry about wedding planning anymore.”
- What’s your favorite wedding trend right now?
Christina: “Simple and unique with tiny personal touches.”
- What inspired your décor or theme?
Christina: “Vaguely Asian and green – Evan’s background and my last name”.
- What’s one thing you wish you would have known earlier in regards to planning?
Christina: “Start as soon as possible – it’s overwhelming but if you take it one step at a time you can do it. Waiting longer won’t make it easier!”
